Story & historical basis

Quatrefoil and four lobed clover shapes are common in Renaissance decorative language, in architecture and in jewellery, because they read as balanced and symmetrical at a glance. Here, the motif is cut in openwork and centred with an 8 mm crystal cabochon, adding contrast without turning the piece into a busy necklace.

This is not presented as a literal reproduction of a specific Tudor jewel. It is a design inspired by that visual world, made for historical wardrobe, stage and events, and equally wearable with modern clothing when you want a Tudor court reference.
