Contesto storico

During the Renaissance, especially within court environments, many chains associated with office combined representative function with visible ornament. In 15th and 16th century England, the Tudor rose was commonly used in administrative and courtly contexts, while the inclusion of geometric elements and cabochons reinforces a decorative rather than strictly hierarchical reading. This chain does not reproduce a documented historical model, but uses recognisable symbols to create a contemporary piece intended for historical reenactment, cultural events and informed stage representation.
