Story & historical basis

The Minerva's earrings are inspired by classical Roman and Mediterranean jewelry, in which rounded shapes, colored stones, and dangling pearls were often used to highlight a woman’s face. This design is neither antique jewelry nor a direct replica of a museum piece. The idea is simpler: period style earrings that evoke ancient Roman jewelry and, thanks to their movement inspired by crotalia style earrings, can be worn during more demanding reenactment activities, cultural or social events, as well as in your everyday life.

Materials, size & closure

• Style: Roman inspired drop earrings with a round engraved connector and fine chain drops
• Centre stone: green agate, 6 mm cabochon
• Drops: potato shape freshwater pearl ends, natural variation expected
• Finish: 18K gold plated components, hand assembled
• Closure: hook ear wires / Round Lever back / Leverback
• Dimensions: approx. 6 cm overall, with a 4.5 cm drop

Jewelry Care

• Keep dry; avoid perfume/cosmetics on metal and pearls
• Store separately in a dry pouch/box to protect plating and pearl surface
• Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wear

For an alternative Roman-inspired design with short pearl drops instead of agate accents, see the Roman Earrings Augusta. The two pieces refer to different elements of Roman jewelry.
