Livery Collar Erick Golden Fleece - product details

This Golden Fleece livery collar is inspired by Renaissance chains of office and ceremonial collars worn at European courts. Built with large round links, coloured glass cabochons and a prominent fleece pendant, it has the look and weight of a real chain of office rather than a simple necklace.

Each connector is a 40 mm round zamak link with an antique brass finish and a 12 mm resin cabochon in vivid colours. The central Golden Fleece pendant echoes the insignia of the historical Order of the Golden Fleece and immediately reads as a symbol of rank and prestige in photos and on stage.

There is no rear clasp or dangling extension chain: Erick is designed to sit as a continuous collar around the shoulders. With a weight from around 360 g, it feels substantial and ceremonial, ideal for characters of power, office or noble status in reenactment, LARP and theatre.

How to wear this livery collar

For balanced wear we recommend lightly fixing the collar at the shoulders with discreet stitches or safety pins, using the connector rings. This stops the collar from twisting or sliding and keeps the fleece pendant perfectly centred, especially over thicker garments such as surcoats, doublets or tabards.

Who is this chain of office for?

· Historical reenactment of Renaissance and late medieval events.
· Livery collars and chains of office for guilds, orders or ceremonial roles.
· LARP characters such as nobles, councillors, magistrates or chancellors.
· Theatre, opera and film costumes that need a clear symbol of rank.
· Themed photography, museum events and educational demonstrations.

Care instructions

Keep the collar dry and avoid contact with perfumes, lotions and cosmetics.
Store it flat in a box or on a padded hanger so that the links do not twist during transport.
Do not bend the decorative connectors by force; if you need small adjustments, work gently on the rings rather than on the main elements.
