These historical pendants are inspired by real art, portraits and museum pieces from the European Renaissance and Baroque courts, with selected designs reaching back to Ancient Rome and forward to Romanticism, Art Nouveau and Art Deco.

Many pieces echo what you see in period paintings and sculptures: devotional pendants, symbolic medallions, heraldic motifs, crosses, portrait-style pieces and jewel-encrusted drops that were worn close to the heart as signs of faith, loyalty, status or personal identity.
