The Order of the Golden Fleece was one of the most prestigious chivalric orders of Renaissance Europe. Its insignia were worn by emperors, kings and high nobility as visible signs of authority and dynastic legitimacy.

Historical sources show that figures such as Emperor Charles V and Philip II of Spain, as well as Emperor Maximilian I, wore the Golden Fleece not only suspended from full ceremonial collars, but also from cords or ribbons in less formal contexts.
This pendant follows that symbolic tradition. It is not a faithful reproduction of a specific historical piece, but a historically grounded interpretation that uses the Golden Fleece as a recognisable emblem.
