Tudor earrings inspired by the four leaf ouche, a recurring form in sixteenth century court jewelry.
A compact yet expressive design combining geometry, color, and controlled movement.
Created to accompany historical dress at cultural events and reenactment settings.

Story & historical basis

During the Tudor period, jewelry formed an essential part of courtly appearance and visual language. Ouches and four leaf forms were widely used in earrings, pendants, and hat ornaments, often set with colored stones and combined with suspended elements to introduce movement. These compositions are well documented in sixteenth century portraits and inventories.
This design draws directly on those sources through its compact ouche form, central square cabochon, and glass drop bead. It is conceived as a historically inspired interpretation, intended to complement period clothing and ceremonial contexts rather than modern casual wear.
