This Tudor S initial necklace is based on a real historical source, not a generic letter design.
The form of the S comes from the chain of office worn by Sir Thomas More, as seen in his famous portrait.
A piece for those who value history, symbolism, or simply wear the initial S with intention.

Highlights

• Letter S based on a documented Tudor chain of office
• Rooted in real Renaissance iconography, not decorative fantasy
• Works for historical dress and modern outfits alike
• Clear symbolic presence without being oversized
• Suitable for collectors, reenactors, and personal initial wear

Story & historical basis

The design of this S pendant is inspired by the chain of office worn by Sir Thomas More, Lord Chancellor of England under Henry VIII.
In his well known portrait, the letter S appears as part of his collar of office, functioning as a sign of rank, authority, and service to the Crown.

This necklace adapts that historical form into a wearable piece, keeping the original silhouette while scaling it for personal use.
It is not based on Anne Boleyn iconography, but on male Tudor office jewelry and court regalia.

Materials, size & closure

• Faux pearls with glass core, approx. 6 mm
• Letter S pendant in zinc alloy with fine 18k gold plating
• Drop pearl in glass, approx. 9 × 13 mm
• Gold plated brass findings
• Closure with lobster clasp and extender chain
• Adjustable length for choker style or slightly lower wear

Jewelry Care

• Keep dry and avoid perfumes or cosmetics on metal and pearls
• Store flat or hanging to prevent tension on the pendant
• Clean gently with a soft dry cloth after use
