Story & historical basis

The Order of the Golden Fleece was one of the most prestigious chivalric orders of Renaissance Europe. Its collars were worn by emperors, kings and high nobles as visible signs of authority and allegiance.

This piece takes inspiration from Flemish and Spanish Renaissance imagery linked to the Habsburg court, where figures such as Emperor Charles V and Philip II of Spain wore Golden Fleece insignia as part of their ceremonial identity.
This collar is not a faithful reproduction of a specific historical piece. The Golden Fleece element is used here as a symbolic reference, giving the design a clear historical tone rather than replicating an original collar.
