Historical basis

The fleur de lis has been one of the most enduring symbols in European heraldry, widely used from the Middle Ages through the Renaissance in military orders, civic insignia and ceremonial dress. Chains of office featuring repeated motifs were worn to signify function, affiliation and status during public acts and formal occasions.

This chain of office draws inspiration from Renaissance military orders, combining alternating fleur de lis elements to create a rhythmic and balanced composition. It is conceived as a ceremonial accessory to be worn over historical garments, but also as a flexible piece for cultural events where historical inspiration is valued over strict reconstruction.
